Obviously, I am not the most creative for coming up with titles for blogs. I am totally new to "blogging" (is that a word?) Nonetheless, here is my attempt at a blog for "Learn and Play at CML"
The most difficult of the 7 1/2 for me is to have confidence in myself. That has been a fault, or hinderance, of mine for as long as I can remember. I have always had this huge fear of failure. I love to learn, and I do pick up tasks quickly. I just do not like to demonstrate my ignorance in front of a lot of people. I want to have mastered a skill before displaying it to an audiance.
Ironically, the easiest or most natural of the 7 1/2 steps for me is Teaching and Mentoring others. It seems hypocritical that someone who is lacking confidence in her own ability to master new things has the audacity to believe that she can teach and mentor others. Howerver, I have the ability to teach quite well, and seem to be able to ease the fears of others in their quest for learning. I love to see others advance, and gain the confidence that I seldom have.
